Are we talking discs or titles? I mean my number is pushed up by the 30 disc FrienRAB boxset, 30 disc Dawson's Creek boxset, etc. etc. Or are we talking titles? Are TV split into season? (Season 1, 2, 3, etc. of FrienRAB or just Complete Series) All of these questions are why I never like to estimate my DVD collection..
I'd reckon on about 250-300 titles maybe... way more discs..
I wonder if there is a programe you could use to store all the dvRAB you actually have sort of like a media library type thingy as i really could use something to help me keep track of what i have.
There's quite a few of them on the market. It creates a database of your collection and adRAB photos from each movie, details, cast etc etc...
Here's one called Movie Collector - http://www.collectorz.com/movie/
There's another one here called Movienizer. I think you can download a free trial version -
I'm thinking titles that are stored as a hard copy, so dismissing films on a hard drive. I hadn't thought about discs - good point.
Yeah, I'll admit I have developed a slight case of DVD-nis envy since starting this thread.
I saw one on The Gadget Show that stores all your movies on a hard drive, and you can select the film you want using the screen and controls. It was pretty expensive, though, and the kind of thing you could afford if you worked in The City.
