How many days a year does Fox TV owner Rupert Murdoch spend in the US?

Does he spend most of his time in Australia (where he's from) or Red China (where his wife's from)?
And how on Earth did he ever get an FCC license to have so much influence over US politics?
 
Just look where we would be without Fox network. Billions of tax dollars supporting prostitution, and God only know how many other illegal activities.
 
The larger question is; Why, given the huge amount of resources, can't the combined efforts of three major networks and several cable outlets have no affect on public policy whatsoever while FOX does regularly and their CEO dosen't even reside in the US?

Is FOX that good or are all the rest that pathetic?
