How many Christians have actually studied the history of the Bible?

How many have looked into how the Bible developed? And how many just believe because that's the way they were raised? How many know of the books that have been added and removed over time, and the disagreements between the church leaders on which books should be part of it and which shouldn't? Did they get it right, if so, which time did they get right since it varied so much through out history?
Follows Jesus, did you know that Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are also questioned? They weren't written by those same four. They weren't even written by eyewitnesses.
pink, it's funny you mentioned Revelations. It was almost NOT included in the Bible because some church fathers thought it sounded like a lunatic had written it.

My pastor did, and so have a lot of of people in my church.

It doesn't matter what books were added/or removed and how many disagreements occurred. What does matter is the Bible is the Word of God.

Why is it so important for you to try to attempt to discredit the Bible? A year or so ago, some archaeologists claimed to have found a sarcophagus that supposedly contained the bones of Jesus. All the scientific community were thrilled to finally have something that disproved the resurrection. Until people remember that Jesus was a common name back then, and there was no way to prove the bones were that of Christ.
