I have been driving for 27 years and the only accident that I have been involved in was due to an idiot woman who pulled out into traffic and hit my car side on.

1 and 2 parents were driving
3 some idiot chickie rear ended me whilst I was stopped at a stop sign.

I have had two in my lifetime...just fender bumpers....one was my fault and one not. Those two were back when I was teenager too.
I have been driving for 55 years! I have only gotten 2 speeding tickets in that time too.
My family was in one though...hubby was driving when a semi went over the top of our car and dragged it 450 feet and landed on a woman and killed her. It was the semi driver fault...
Our one son was in a coma for 10 weeks and is paralyzed for it...and he was in the hospital for 10 years ....
now he lives in his own home and drives and takes care of himself.

I've been in 3 & I have been driving 7 years. I didn't get my license until I was 19 since it wasn't necessary when I was in college. Saved on insurance...
The 1st one was not my fault (rear ended) but the other 2 were. The second one I hit the gas thinking it was the break while in reverse & smashed my back end into a pole at a gas station (Thank the Lord I didn't hit the actual dispensers) the 3rd one I lost control when I hit a huge muther f'n pothole filled with water & ran my car into a sign & the owner's truck of a greenhouse.
Yes, both were pretty embarassing. I've taken specific pre-cautions since!
