ok so I am 18 years old, i am 5'4 tall and i weight 109 pounds

ok so i have used the online daily caloric need calculators and all that and it says that my daily caloric need to lose weight is 1800 calories a day... well see i tried doing the whole 1800 calories a day thing, i did lose weight, but i also loss a lot of muscle and it slowed down my metabolism.

just recently i got my metabolism back up to what it used to be, and trust me it took a lot of hard work, i also used to be 105 pounds but now I am 109 since i put on 4 pounds of muscle, however i still have the last remainder of body fat around my stomach.

i run 4 times a week, lift weights 2 times a week and i have a resting day. so i am pretty active I guess. I also only eat healthy, and I enjoy cheat meals now and then so i never feel deprived.

my question is how many calories should I eat to lose body fat? i dont want to mess up my metabolism again, currently its at the fastest its ever been. I also dont want to lose any muscle mass, just body fat. again i have a pretty fast metabolism, and gaining muscle mass really isnt a problem for me, i just want to kill the last remainder of body fat in my stomach.

any tips? should i ditch the whole calorie counting all together and just start eating by portions? I also eat 6 meals a day to keep my metabolism on high gear. and currentlyim eating about 2400-3000 calories a day of healthy food..a and I know I have a fairly quick metabolism because i eat a lot of protein and fiber and I still manager to get hungry every 3 hours, its as if my body just burns everything really quick, specially on the days i run and lift weights.

yes I do realize i am under weight at 109 pounds, so thats why i want to lose only body fat, not weight, if anything i want to gain weight without gaining fat. any tips?

Start calorie counting. Here's a good calorie database:

Try to keep it under 1800 calories per day. Remember it takes about 3500 calories to burn a pound. With that said here's a good way to guess how many calories your burning a day:

Your diet should consist of a mixture of greens, breads, fruits, and meats (but not a lot of meats).

I was in the same shape your in. I lost 50 lbs by just excercising and doing the above. You can run and then work with lighter weights. More reps burn more calories. Remember the focus right now is to loose the flab - we can build muscle later.

DRINK LOTS OF WATER! Keep your system flushed out.

Hope this helps! Good Luck!
