As mentioned earlier I'm reading Coming up for Air by George Orwell (page 151 still...).
But I'm also reading The Trial by Franz Kafka - a story about a guy called Josef (page 89), Mao: The Unknown Story by Jung Chang and Jon Halliday - a story about a guy called Mao Tse-tung (page 123) and finally graffiti brasil by Tristan Manco, Lost Art and Caleb Neelon - a book about Brazilian graffiti (I'm still looking at the pictures they're very pretty).
So, how many books are you reading and on average how many books do you have "on the go" at any given time?
Oh, and do you have any trouble picking up where you left off or do you have to go back a few pages?
This question was inspired by Chrispy!! :)

I only read one book at a time usually, reading Savannah by John Jakes right now. But I usually finish one and then start another one right away. I always go back a page or two when I start up each day because I read a lot right before bed so by the time I finish I am pretty sleepy.

sadly, im not reading anything at the moment! but i usually read 2 or 3 books at a time!

I did answer ur other question I thought I would add that on top of Possession by Byatt, I am also rereading Wurthering Heights by Emily Bronte. Oh and also some cheapo mystery paperback called Sadie I got for god knows what reason because it isn't very good, but I'm a sucker for over the top drama.
I don't have much trouble picking up where I leave off because I don't usually leave much time between reading, or if I do its because I've read it before and know the story well.
I've had anywhere from one to five books on the go (which is rare and mostly only happens in the holidays, which I'm on atm) I'm a quick reader and if its good I'll keep reading till its finished.
