This is the best way to show an argument where you base your doubts and points to agree or disagree. You can not make an opinion of what you do not have any knowledge of.
Most of their arguments are actually based on what they learn and know about the Book.
Of course, "understanding" what one may know differs from the point of how a knowledge is taken comfortably by the one who reads and what he prefers to accept as true or false.
 
I have two. One, a gift from a pastor when I was a small child. My mother made the cover by hand. The other was a gift from my church when I graduated high school. Both have sentimental value, so I have no desire to get rid of them - though it has been several years since I cracked one open.
 
Yes, I totally have one, and a Quran too. I read my bible more than some of my preachy friends. To me it's an interesting read because it decides how a lot of society behaves, sadly enough. There's no reason not to read it. What, did you think we just come here to tell everyone how right we are with no factual basis for it?
