How many ACTs SATs and subject tests can I take before looking bad?

I'm becoming a junior and took the ACT. I got a 25 which is basically failure. How many of each can I take before looking bad?

if you retake a take, your points are not really going to change dramatically, only slighty unless you do some major studying.

You shouldn't really go over 3 retakes for either the ACT or SAT. Most people do two but I've seen a few go to 3. But you should take it as many times as you need for score that you feel good about. Not all colleges require you to send all your SAT scores, in some(maybe most) colleges you can send whatever scores you think are your best score. You have a whole other year to take those tests.
