How low does your EFC have to be to qualify for Financial Aid?!?

I recently filed my fasa for the 2009-2010 school year in Florida, just now being considered INDEPENDENT (finally) I was hoping to receive some sort of aid (HA!) so I wouldn't have to continue getting loans. Anyway, does anyone know how LOW your EFC has to be in order to qualify for financial aid? Mine is 9247, so obviously it needs to be lower than that. =(
