How long would it take someone to learn PHP...?

I have a 1 quarter background in Java, so I know how to use for loops, if/else statements and those sort of things in JAVA.

How long would it take to learn how to code in PHP and database (mysql) stuff for websites? Is it something one could expect to learn in a week or will it take months to learn it?

Also, any website you would recommend to learn from?
