how long will it take vodafone to despatch my mobile?

i ordered a pay monthly mobile from vodafone last night, i recieved an email this morning telling me that the credit check had run smoothly and they will email me when my mobile has been despatched.
does anyone know how long it will take for the mobile to be despatched?
