How long will it take UPS ground to ship a package around 600 miles (at most)?

I'm ordering a package from a company that has free UPS ground shipping. I need it by Friday. The farthest warehouse is about 600 miles away (from Kansas to Kentucky). Will it get here by Friday with UPS ground or should I upgrade? It's a guitar, (16 lbs.) so upgrading won't be cheap; (like $35) hence the question.
