Its been a really long time since I finished my FAFSA... I submitted it in April, and they requested some information and proof of my parents income which I handed in by the start of June. Then they said they would get back to me.
Still nothing back from them and I start college in a week. How long is this supposed to take? I have some immediate expenses to pay, will it be months into the semester before I get any money in hand? I have been pestering the financial aid office and all they say is that they are waiting to hear back to say that its approved or if they need more documents and proof.
Which leads me to another question. If they do want another document and I submit it, will I have to wait another 8-10 weeks for a response again?
