how long will a dodge ram last?

hi im looking at cars.com and i saw a 2003 dodge ram 1500 slt 5.7 liter for sale it has 138000 miles though. it looks extremely clean and is for sale for 9 grand. opinions with people that had dodges before would it be a good buy or just something im going to have to end up putting money into thanks
