How long until there is finally a revolution in America?

Not soon enough if ever. The people with the power will make sure that those who don't will be just comfortable enough as to feel that doing something like that is too risky and they will continue to distract the population away from their agenda.

The majority of the people in the US do not have the balls to do anything. They will tell you all day they will rise up and take arms, but in reality, they are nothing but keyboard warriors glued to the tv/internet.

The wealthy know exactly that the good times have gone and meltdown is on it's way, and their advice to their sons and daughters or anyone in the loop is to get rich quick or miss out, last chance and it is going to be an accelerating event lasting short of the next generation maybe 10 or 20 years.

Holidays will become a thing of the past, affordable by the wealthy only, retirement and pensions fucked, the way things are going we will be working in to our 70's and 80's with an ageing population and medical advances and the costs to support those advance and medicine are going to rocket.

Terrorists are going to love to try to draw rich countries into war at any opportunity to try to financially fuck them up like they did with 9/11 and the following results. With 14.3 trillion in debt, and no way of paying it off in any reasonable time frame and a reducing credit rating, the US are going to be bought out largely by China.

The rich populations have lost the will to work and have got so soft by easy going lifestyles, video games, comfy jeeps, fast food and outsourcing the dirty jobs that they really are not going to be able to compete, or want to work hard to get out of the holes they will end up in.

Come next week there could easily be a black Monday or a black Friday, similar to 1987, we are certainly due a stock market crash, we have had the housing and bank crashes.

With all the guns in the US and jobless reaching 10% it might not be the case of riots on the street next week or next month, but give a year or two and it could become something like out of a horror movie in your neck of the wooRAB, zorabie flesh eaters 3.

I say batten down the hatches, stash yer cash and clear walmart out of ammo if they have any left.

Americans could immigrate back to Europe, sort of like after a few hundred years ye made a go of it, but time to re-unite with your forefathers.

Always looking out for doctors here, teachers, and the various trades. Maybe the Texans could be used for the janitorial sort of stuff, they could do with shedding a few pounRAB anyhows.

Then like in the films Escape from New York / Los Angeles, ye could seal off all the big cities where the riots have gotten out of control, and send in Snake Blisken to sort out the worst trouble makers.

I think enough people posting the reasons why it will never happen, is giving us a better understanding of the current situation and why it should happen. We know the problems, lets find the solutions.

This is true, not just about politics, but about life in general. Robots who can't put things into action, except to follow along. Self determination and decisiveness has largely been lost, the illusion of opportunities and options masks a general inability to direct one's own life. I think this isn't just a consequence of peoples' character but a corabination of personality and the way the society works.

Welcome to 2010?

Oh, wait, I said Year of the Rebellion, not revolution.

Last year, we saw an increase in individual acts of rebellion against the system, the man, whatever you want to call it. This year, things are coming undone. The local governments ignore or gloss over these rob-mob and freestuffer attacks, but they're getting more frequent. So we've gone from 2010, with individual cases, to little banRAB of thugs. By next year, there will be larger groups, TAKING what they feel entitled to, and burning down what they can't take with them.

To say that "when the checks stop, the revolution starts" isn't going to be accurate. The animals, if not caged up, will act like animals whether you leave out the food bowl for them or not. We're beginning to see this now.

The revolution, if there is to be one, will require some kind of leadership. I don't really see any kind of spiritual or political leaders that enough people can glom onto. Maybe Ron Paul and the TEA Party? Nah.
