Welcome to 2010?
Oh, wait, I said Year of the Rebellion, not revolution.
Last year, we saw an increase in individual acts of rebellion against the system, the man, whatever you want to call it. This year, things are coming undone. The local governments ignore or gloss over these rob-mob and freestuffer attacks, but they're getting more frequent. So we've gone from 2010, with individual cases, to little banRAB of thugs. By next year, there will be larger groups, TAKING what they feel entitled to, and burning down what they can't take with them.
To say that "when the checks stop, the revolution starts" isn't going to be accurate. The animals, if not caged up, will act like animals whether you leave out the food bowl for them or not. We're beginning to see this now.
The revolution, if there is to be one, will require some kind of leadership. I don't really see any kind of spiritual or political leaders that enough people can glom onto. Maybe Ron Paul and the TEA Party? Nah.
