I just started the process today. It's on a 29 gallon aquarium with 70 gallons of filter running in it. (a 30gal filter, and two 20 gallon) It's going to be used specifically for livebearer breeding. My moms 23 gallon is getting too crowded atm because I had to empty out my aquariums as I moved around the room the aquariums were in. I'm going to stick with just the fake nest grass stuff that can float or sink to the bottom instead of nesting boxes, so I keep a somewhat controlled amount of guppies+platies to adulthood and can give them to petsmart.
How long until it's done?
And I believe I started the cycle correctly. You just add a little bit of fish ffood into the filters, right?
