How long until I go to boot camp for the Marine Corps?

After talking with a recruiter and making my decision how long will it be until I go to boot camp? I'll be joining at 17 and I want to begin boot camp absolutely as soon as possible. So my question again is, How long will it be after enlisting before I'm sent to boot camp?
I'll be seventeen in January. Is it possible to call a recruiter instead of meeting with him and ask a few questions?

That is a question you should ask your recruiter. He will know what the current wait is.

First and foremost, you MUST graduate high school before you can go to Boot. then there's MEPS and DEP (because you are still underage and in high school). one thing you wanna start doing NOW is, HYDRATE, HYDRATE, HYDRATE. drink water and ONLY water, if you can. if you got any other questions, just hit me up on my email : )

you need to go through a few things. They usually have dates when they send everyone so check with your recruiter.
