How long to test with pregnancy test post trigger shot?

Ok so I triggered on Wednesday morning around 8:30am so I was suppose to ovulate Thursday around 8:30pm. So that would make me 1 dpo or 2 dpo? Should I round the day I ovulated to Friday since I ovulated so late on Thursday? When can I test post trigger and get a true bfp? Thanks!
 
Part of it depends on what you used to trigger and the dosage - HCG trigger shots can stay in your system for up to 10 days and they can give you a false positive on a home pregnancy test.

I would start testing about 14 days post shot, it "should" be out of your system and your test should be pretty accurate!
