Thats not how Google AD Sense works, there is no need for Google to tie in to Android for AD revenue. And frankly they can afford not to do that. ADs are done be people searching from there phones and in third party Apps. Its not gonna happen.
Now MS needs all the help they can get, they are pretty desperate to make Win Phone 7 a success. Personally i think it will be released with a whimper, and die a slow death over the course of a year. Like there KIN phone did.

Agreed that OS looks horrible IMO!
I know a lot of people hate ads in their apps, but I really dont pay them much attention.

I don't expect ads will become an integral part of the OS itself. I do expect any and every free app I install to be ad-supported, though. I don't mind that at all, so long as the ads don't get in the way of the app's functionality.
