Contact your local health department; they do pregnancy tests for free or very reduced costs; they also provide free birth control (condoms - male and female) and reduced cost birth control for women.

Some women have whats called implantation bleeding. It's pretty much just as you described, pink or light brown and not enough to fill a tampon or pad.
Now a period can be delayed due to stress or even if you ovulate later. As we all ovulate diff and even diff times of the month for each cycle. The luteal phase which is the period of time between ovulation and your flow always stays the same. SOO if you ovulate 10 days later than normal you can get your period 10 days later.

Yes you can go to a free clinic and get tested or the dollar store actually has pretty good tests. They are only 5% less sensitive than the more spendy early name brand tests like First Response and Clear Blue. I got my results on the dollar store this last time :)

Jsut remember to use your first morning urine and read your results within the first 3 min (10 max) or else you can see the dye drag which is a an evaporation line and some think they are preg.

As for an early miscarriage, they are common but most women don't even know unless you are TTC and really watching. I had one and it was more like bright red period blood with lots of cramping. It was obvious. I doubt you are having a miscarriage.

Best of luck and blessings :)
