How long should you wait for company to reply with your interview test results?

Hi,

I had a telephone interview with a company. They immediately told me after the interview that they were happy to take me forward to the next stage which was an assignment that I had to solve and return. I returned the solved assignment 4 days ago. I still haven't heard from the company.
I would like to know what I can do. How long I should wait.

What surprises me is that how they had immediately told me that I had gone to the next stage after my telephone interview. But with this assignment result they are taking long. I really want to work for this company but don't want to endanger my chances by sounding too eager.
