I would say vice versa. For your what your looking for you want fast, hard,m explosive sprints. Its almost impossible to actually sprint for a minute straight, you may be running your hardest but your body can't stay at full speed that long. I myself don't like to get too mixed up with the time part anyway, if you have access to a track, I like to sprint the straight aways and walk the curves for about 5-7 laps. Its tougher than it sounds.
