i am going to the jrnylc this june and i am struggling a bit with one of my pre conference assignments here are the directions
your second assignment will be your personal definition of leadership. what skills or attributes are needed to be an effective leader? think of a real leader whom you admire: he or she can be a historical figure or someone you know personally like a parent or a teacher. what makes this person a leader? what skills does he or she posses? this may be in form of an essay,painting,collage,or poem.
i'm picking my mom to be the person but i don't know how long it should all be but i have to get it done so any help or suggestions? advice?
also what are the focus groups? do you get assigned to them there?
