How long should I wait until playing soccer after eating breakfast?

I'm not having anything too heavy but I stayed up the night before so I am really hungry. How long should I wait until playing soccer after eating breakfast?

It's 9AM EST and I'm going to play at 10AM EST. Is that safe?
