How long should I expect to wait for these repairs on my car to be completed?

I drive a 1998 toyota 4runner. my car was stolen last week and recovered, but the insurance is paying for several things to be done. My car is not drivable because of damage to the master cylinder, and i need it back as soon as possible. The insurance adjuster is coming friday.
I am getting
1) new paint job
2) 2 small dents taken out (one in front bumper and one on side and each only about 3-4 inches long)
3) master cylinder replaced
4) MAYBE (very small possibility) new upholstery, because when it was stolen, they smoked in it and i cannot get the smell out.

How long should I expect to have to wait to get it back?

If you have a decent insurance company they would normally loan you a hire car whilst the repairs are being completed. There are chemicals that will cure the tobacco smell. Provided the adjuster and repairer agree the works a week should be plenty of time to complete

I work in auto body repair. You aren't getting new upholstery and the repair work could take as long as three weeks. It may be best to find another way around so they can take the time to do a nice job and not create more problems for you because they were rushed and threatened.

you can expect at least 3 weeks to have it done.Paint and body work will take the longest.Master cylinder will be one day unless other problems show up once the master cylinder is replaced and depends on how busy the shop is and how fast the insurance pays for the work. The shop may have to pick up parts that are ordered so it will take time. The upholstery will be cleaned.I hope this helps.

The new paint job is going to take most of the time, all of the other things are going to take 2 days max. The paint job and dent removal could take 2-3 weeks depending on the shop. Make sure that you take it to a reputable shop and that your insurance pays for a rental car while it is in the shop.

the industry standard is about 10 business days, or 2 weeks for most car accidents
