My Husband has been in the army for about 2 years and for the last year has been having some really bad sharp pains in his shins. First they said it was shin splints then gave him calcium and a no run profile then he started running again and the problem came back same thing no running and calcium. they finally decided to do a bone scan and see that he has stress fractures in both his shins same thing gave him calcium and no running well finally another bone scan and a year later and at a new base they tell him that its a problem with the way his bones are formed and that as long as he runs he will keep getting stress fractures. All that leads up to them telling him that he is 90% chance going to be medically discharged. Im just wondering how long this takes being that i am 7 months pregnant and want to be prepared for whats to come..
