How long is too long to wait to hear those words

My boyfriend & I have a great relationship...it's wonderful and very loving.:) Here's the problem: We have been dating for 1 year & 8 months and he still has not told me that he loves me. He knows that this bothers me and that I feel it is not normal that he cant tell me he loves me yet. But still, he will not say "the words". How much longer should I wait?!:confused:
 
I would say after being together that long. If he hasn't said, he loves you. then he probably doesn't. If you are looking to settle down and marry this man.
I would ask him what is his tough's on marriage and he he say's he has no plans to marry you and that's something you want. Then as hard as it would be, its time to move on. Why, stay with someone who doesn't love you.
I could not wait to tell my wife that i loved her. I knew i loved my wife after a few weeks of dating.
