How long is too long for a baby to be in a bouncer or swing?

I try not to keep my baby in either one very long, but there's only so much you can do with him. I do lay him on the floor as well to play...and he gets in a few tummy time sessions...

I'm really trying to avoid him getting a flat head...
 
I would just try to alternate his position if its comfortable for him. If hes content then he's probably not in there too long He'll let you know when its time to come out. Congratulations on your baby boy!
 
a bouncer, you can tell when there to big for that, when there feet are dragging on the ground and its at its highest level there done, and probably around 9 months or so. because there gonna start walking or trying to walk and they will be bored stuck in there.
and the swing, my baby is only a month and i dont even stick her in there once a day, it doesnt seem to help alot at all, she like music and just laying there, so maybe try putting some music on during tummy time, they really like and enjoy nature sounds..
