How long does it take for the letter to come summon to court for speeding?

i want to ask that a few questions,
1.) if you got stopped by police in UK, and they summon you to court how long does it take for the letter usually or normally to be sent through?

2.) what are the chances of the letter coming through?

3.) is that true exactly after 6 months they cannot charge you for speeding as part of the law?

isit 5months an 2 weeks?

2.) what are the chances of the letter coming through out of 10?

3.) is that true exactly after 6 months they cannot charge you for speeding if the court letter has not been sent to u?
