I went to the doctor yesterday for abdominal pains and he happened to notice what I thought to be either bug bites or larges hives on my arm. He asked if I had any more and how long I've had them...I have them on both arms, my ankles and feet..and they've been coming and going for a few weeks now. Well, he said I might have staph so he took a nose swab and said he will have a culture done. How long does it take to get the results back? I don't want to call in and bug the nurses, but a few of my sores have opened a bit, bleed and a clear pus has oozed out making the sore go down in swelling. Should I tell the nurses, and does this even sound like staph or just some bug bites? Thanks
