How long does it take for a paper mache sculpture to dry?

I did it using the dough method (and not thel layer method). It is the size of a nailpaint bottle. What is the drying time roughly...?

2 days and it will be very hard

Hm, I'd give it a couple of days until it is dried right through to the centre. Of course, you'll know because it will be really hard when it's dried properly.
