...from google images cache? okay heres how it is. I had an image and posted it on a sites forum using a direct link for a moment then later deleted it from my photobucket account after only a few days. The website still has the link on that page but it is a dead link. Later i found out that the image is still on google images under some search terms for some reason. I click the image thumbnail and it goes to the page i posted it on then i click on ful size of the image and it ges to the message about the image being deleted.
How long will it take before google removes the no longer existent image thumbnail? It says it removes images that no longer exist so whats the deal? How can i make it go away? Should i load up another image to photobucket that has the same name as the original to be replaced or is it better left deleted? Would closing my photobucket account make the image go away? Will requesting that page on the site to be removed remove the image or not(last option because the site doesnt care)?
