...Family to his Base? Hello i am a first time Army Wife/Mom and my Husband is supposed to be Graduating from his AIT (Advanced Individual Training) in August. Supposidly from what my Husband hears, As soon as he graduates he's supposed to go back to his hometown to pick up his things and his Family and is supposed to be sent to his official Milatary Base (which we still don't know where that will be) and i guess we're given a house to live inside his Army Base? Well in reality we don't know how this works because this is a first time thing for us. Has anybody already been through this process? And if so how long from the time of graduation to the time the whole Family is given a house in the Army base and moves? Do you maybe have to apply for a house on base and what happens to your cars if you have to go overseas? Does the Army pay for that too??? Please help i'm so ANXIOUS to know some solid answers or at least have an idea of what to expect. Thanks!! =)
