I got my betta a heater because my new room was around 64 degrees (way too cold for him). The heater I got is currently keeping the water at an average of 74-75 degrees.
My betta has been acting sick since I put it in about 3-4 days ago. He's not swimming around, he's not interested in food, and he spends a lot of time scooting along the top of the tank blowing bubbles. His color isn't very good either and his eyes are glossy. He has done this before once or twice and has gotten better on his own. Could it be a cold of some kind?
I don't know if it's the sudden temp change that has him acting funny and he's going to get better, or if he's sick. I care about him very much and I'm worried cause he's older (3 years old). I tried the pea thing to see if it was constipation or something like that, but he wouldn't have any of it.
I'm worried about him. Anybody have any suggestions or thoughts?
