how long does it take apple to charge your debitcard after buying apps on ipodtouch?

i just bought a few apps from the appstore on my ipod touch yesterday and i got my debitcard linked to my account and everything but apple still hasnt charged my debit card yet.does anyone know about how long it takes them.thanks
