be told you're not getting the job? My husband has been out of work for 3 months. There are not a lot of jobs available doing what he does. About three weeks ago he had an interview for a job that sounded perfect for him. He never heard back. Is it normal to hear nothing - whether they wanted him for a 2nd interview or whether they don't want him at all? Shouldn't he have received at least a form letter by now (saying they don't want to hire him)? I know the holidays put a delay in things.
He is convinced he didn't get the job but I keep thinking he would have heard something by now if they weren't hiring him so I still think there is a chance. What do you think? It's been a long time since either of us were in a job hunt so it's hard to recall. We were both at our jobs for a long time.
