How long does Birth control take to help acne?

I was just wondering :-) I've searched on google and everything and nothing is telling me. I think I read somewhere it takes 3 months? Just wanted to know from anyone with experience! (I'm breaking out pretty bad.)
 
Birth control generally takes three to four months for your system to fully adjust to it. However, you have to remeraber that it isn't guaranteed to help your acne, so technically it could possibly not help at all. Give it a few months though and see if it's working for your skin.
 
I use to always break out at that time of the month until I got on birth control. It took about 2 months to notice a difference. I still sometimes get a small pimple here or there but not nearly as bad as I use too. Alot of girls break out more at first because of the hormonal change but then it gets better.
