If you are making it on the stove, use a med-high heat, and just watch the bacon. You will know when it is done - it usually takes about 7 minutes cooked this way if I had to estimate.
I would say about 5 - 7 minutes but it is best just to keep an eye on it, and make sure the heat is not up too high. It is best to grill it if you can as grilling is more healthy.
Bacon should be cooked to the texture you like Bacon is smoked and in most cases cured. Some people like floppy bacon (MY FAVORITE) and some like it crisp MAKE SURE it says cured on the package if you like it rare
Uncured is probably better for you because it DOESN'T CONTAIN SODIUM NITRATE also knon as (Salt-Peter) Not good for the male sex drive!
