how long honestly do you think a car like that would last with just basic maintenance? it burns some oil and has 188k miles. a mechanic said it has worn piston rings and thats why there is oil on spark plugs.
 
Damn man! LOL... I had a 2000 Toyota Celica GT-S and I absolutely loved that car in this last year, it kept breaking down, 3 clutches and then the engine blown. I had the car for about a good 4 years. Toyotas are getting and even more of a bad name after all the deal will the gas pedals. I'm going back to my traditional roots of my family and we've always bought Chevrolets ever since I was little. I just stepped out of my families roots of buying nothing but Chevrolets. I have a Chevy truck now, and I haven't had any problems with it at all and to top it off it's even older than that 2000 Toyota Celica GT-S that I had. I will never buy a Toyota again.
