how long does a degree in mass media/media studies take?

Mto Mr. Flibble... don't worry i have NO intention of taking media studies LOL, i just needed to know becuase i am trying to work out someone's age and she won't tell me, i'm nosy so i'm using the year she graduated uni to guess it :P
 
3 years, 4 if you take a year out in industry.

Um... I dont want to damper your dream... but media studies has not exactly taken off over here... I know many media graduates who could not find the work afterwards. Its not a big industry over here, and only the really exceptional get through the net. Something to think about. Sorry to say it
