soo my battery light in my car came on yesterday and i'm supposed to go home on thursday!!
i just got a whole new battery put in a few weeks ago and it's been working fine for a month and now all of a sudden the battery light is on. i need to make it home (hopefully!)
i went out and ran the car for about twenty minutes and drove it around and it seemed fine. i checked the hookup and wiped of some of the corrosion on the connections but the light is still on.
can i just get someone to jump it so it gets charged and then drive home?
how long will the battery last if it's not continually getting charged?
any help is much appreciated. i don't know much about cars but i'm learning so any help i would be grateful for!
