i am planning on getting a iphone but this would be my first phone but i want a iphone the cheapest plan for iphone on rogers right now is $60 and i dont wanna pay 60 bucks for my first phone how long do u think i will have to wait for a cheaper plan?

I don't think it's going to get cheaper they lowered the price on the iphone because they knew that people would have to pay for the more expensive plans. It's all business and its not always right.

You can get an iPhone activated on a voice plan for as little as $30/mth now (plus system access fees) but that would be without data access. If you plan on using data as well, then you would be looking at another $30/mth for that. You're unlikely going to see a significant drop from that price anytime soon.

$60 is actually a great rate for a data phone. If you ask anybody with a smartphone who actually USES a lot of data (not Blackberrys usually.. a lot of their data is compressed), $60 is excellent. The best deal you will get with the rogers Iphone is to get a regular voice plan and then add on the 6gb $30 plan. (6gb is usually $100/month.. they have it on promo for $30 until the end of August. There is a Data contract with this plan however so keep that in mind ($100 if you cancel it). I don't see them every having something this good in the near future, so if you're gonna get one, get one in the next month!!
