How "old" according to creationist is how Earth?
How do they know?

Gwen, do you realize that according to Genesi, Adam and Eve were perfect specimens of man, they lived to be nearly 1000 years old and the were smarter than most today. If you consider that think about how much potential our brains has and how much we use of it. Degeneration might have occurred to put mankind were it is now?
 
They were there for about 2 or 3 pages, not too long.

Nothing that happened in the bible happened in reality.
 
The generation of the bible go back about 6000 years. This does not mean the earth is only that old. A day in the life of God could be a thousand years or more to us mere mortals. We are not told how long Adam and Eve were in the garden before they told to leave. Only God knows the answer to that, you can ask Him when you see Him.
 
There are indications that Adam was 30 years old when he received Eve, and 3 1/2 years later he was sentenced to death and banished from the Garden of Eden shortly afterward.

Personally, I don't believe that Adam and Eve started humanity in the first place. I totally believe in Darwin's theory of evolution. Think about it for a minute... If the two (Adam and Eve) had had children that would have had children themselves, after a few generations intermarrying each other, their great grand-children would have been totally degenerated because of their consanguinity, and humanity would have NEVER made it until nowadays without any serious health, physical and IQ issues!!!
 
They weren't. The story is fiction.
The earth is 4566 million years old; the sun is older by 2.5 million years. The event that created the moon occurred 4320 million years ago.
