How long do you have to cook pork chops for?

Starting the Atkins diet and Pork Chops are on the list of things to eat. Anyway I've never had or cooked them before so I'm a little clueless on where to start! I want it cooked properly, not rare or medium rare. Also would prefer to cook it in the oven but can fry it!! Thanks a lot everyone xx
