How long do we have to wait for health care now that the dems are in complete...?

control and it can't be stopped by republicans?........ok dems times up where is all that talk about change?......no one can stop you ....where is it?......
 
They never said they'd adopt universal healthcare like all the other western nations. I personally belief we should adopt it, since our healthcare system is right up there with Morocco and Costa Rica. We have the lowest life expectancy out of the entire Western World. Universal healthcare isn't about politics, it's about ethics. The only reason we don't yet have it is because of constant lobbying and bribing done by the health insurance industry. Ever seen these little shows on things like Fox and NBC where they go on about how evil it is? Completely ridiculous.

Anyway, the Obama administration has stated it just wants to make health insurance affordable again. During Bush's term, Bush had deregulated the entire industry, causing prices to skyrocket, so only 1 in 3 Americans could afford health insurance. The industry needs to be regulated once again, so the insurance industry can no longer gouge Americans for all their money.

No one should be denied medical treatment, it's unethical.
 
It is being researched now, comparing systems that have worked far better in other countries, with more access, comparable quality, and less cost. Looking more and more like a nationalized option, not universal, but they are still in the analysis phase. Anything will be better than the mess we have now.
