How Long Do Jeeps Last For?

I'm thinking about buying a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It only has 40,000 miles on it. I'd be getting it at a pretty good price. How long does a Jeep last? Is it worth buying a 2004 or should I go with a later model. I want to be used, new is out of my price range.
 
Like everything else it depends how well it was cared for. All modern cars are designed to last 10 years and 150k miles. If its been taken care of they will last longer. If not it wont make it that far.
 
jeeps are nice looking, but they are in the shop all the time for repairs, they are the worst investment i have ever seen. if i was you i would look at toyota or honda.
