How long do ceramic braces take to straighten your teeth?

My other friends that had metal braces said their teeth straigtned completley on the first few days but mine ive had for 3/4 days and only a tiny change occured in the straightness of my teeth. how long will it take?
and I mean like my teeth havent straighened and i had them for 4 days people who get braces their teeth straighen in 3 days?
