I have some baked & pork n beans mixed together that were cooked on the stovetop with molasses, brown sugar, mustard, onions, garlic and some other stuff and theyve been sitting in my fridge since July 4th. When i open the container they smell fine, theres no mold or any signs of fungi and there's also partial separation of the fluids at the top but when i stir em up they taste pretty good. I know it's been a month now but there doesnt seem to be anything wrong with them at this point and I really don't want to throw them away. The only odd thing is that the beans, originally light brown in color, have changed to a darker brown but not by much. So the question is, are these babies still good enough to eat without me getting sick? I know the "Rule of the Thumb" 3-4 day thing but it also depends on proper storage. Any tips would help!
