they painted alone? I need to help out a friend who is stuck on one last math question...not sure if this can be answered correctly here...but here it is:
Working together, Suzy and Sam painted a dog house in 3 hours. Last year, Suzy painted the dog house by herself. The year before, Sam painted the house herself taking 2.5 hours longer than Suzy did last year. Question A: How long did it take each of the women to paint the dog house in the year they painted alone? Round the answers to the nearest whole minute.
We kept on getting the answer of Zero...which we know is not correct.... :C any help would be greatly appreciated
