How long can you keep salmon in the fridge until you cook it?

I took it out the freezer on Sunday and placed it immediately in the fridge. I didn't take it out until today when i decided to cook it. But now I am afraid to eat it. Do you think it is okay to eat? It did not smell wierd when I took it out the fridge.

Please help cause it is looking mighty good on my plate!
Sorry.. The fish had been frozen for prob close to a month. The fish was rock solid ice when I put it in the fridge.
 
If it was still frozen Sunday, today it's probably exactly perfect to cook. Meat takes anywhere from 3-4 days to fully thaw in my fridge.
